This conceptual design of a passenger ship dedicated to Gdynia makes it possible to visit the port on the side of the basins, carries an idea, directs attention to a portion of the local history and culture which has been lost over time. It is intended as a reconnector of the urban and port fabric, facilitating their interfusion, as well as acknowledgement of the role the port has had in the development of the city. This design could serve as a new showcase of the place naturally merging into the local awareness and identity. The concept dwells on the history of the ship architecture implicitly, without referring to historic forms or semantic meanings. Instead, it refers to the historical function of the urban water draft, especially in a city as closely associated with the sea as Gdynia is.

The presented work relies upon designing a patient of the future and further observations, documented by visual means. The designer assumes dynamic development of transplantology and creation of completely new beings, who will also require complex medical care. Patients will be built of human cells and kept alive by their means. Ethically, how far will we go creating new organisms? Based on her experience as a young doctor, the designer tries to lead the recipient through diagnostic stages and research analysis. In parallel, she emphasises the irony of the entire process, which results in creating something that will become so alien to us.

The design is intended to reform the stereotypes regarding manhood and reveal the perception of situations and behaviours according to the accepted social norms. It also aims to clash the printing and painting methods. The starting point of the installation was the designer’s internal disapproval of the conservative “real man” image. The black-and-white panoramas tell short, caricatural stories with non-obvious endings. They are the background for oil paintings, featuring a delight of corporeality, presumably bias and stereotypes free. The installation is addressed to persons willing to reflect on the social mechanisms that shape cultural roles and genders.

Borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexoholism, schizophrenia, depression. Five different mental illnesses and five objects to represent them. The work intends to make people familiar with various mental disorders, define them, visualise how the afflicted persons feel and what emotions accompany their lives. The designer also emphasises the problem of stigmatisation of persons with mental disfunctions and its negative effect on their health. The topic of mental illnesses is difficult, but very important, and it should be discussed. Made of organic materials and brass, the objects present their sad yet true nature, without taboo.

Amelot is a biscript font family dedicated to immersive reading in dark screen mode. The design is inspired by the experience of contemporary designers as well as accomplishments of the renaissance typography masters. The process started from the research of the French and Belgian16th-century prints and resulted in digitising of the selected historic typeface. The original font Amelot employs the above-mentioned experiences to find which features and solutions applied in the renaissance typefaces have positive influence on the display efficiency and comfort of reading long texts in the dark screen mode?

Despite the rising trend of digital product design, little has been done to adapt sustainability principles to it. There is a lack of knowledge on this topic and the little data available is scattered, technical and hard to implement by designers. Make it sustainable is an online service to encourage sustainable behaviours in UI/UX designers, firstly by increasing awareness on the topic with a short explainer animation called Pixels are real and secondly, by making sustainable web design easy to do, with an online platform (Figma plugin) that gives simplified information, compact and easy to use with a step-by-step guide and a ,,problem-solution” approach to sustainable web design.

The country vs the city is a constant split between the border and the community. Each of these spaces is a self-existing individuality offering different values and contrastive experience. As polar opposites, they give a sense of imperfection or deficit, compensated in another. The interior design of the Brühl Palace in Brody, providing the workshop space for children, is intended as a prologue, the beginning of change. In this place, borders come together to form a new perception of community due to the symbolic combination of manual and digital art. The design is intended to encourage the users’ observation and inspiration. The entire concept is dedicated to opening the Brody village to other cultures.

The work is participator in character. It engaged the pensioners of nursing homes in Szczecin aged 65–87 and representing various social groups. The graduate project is a specific experiment towards building a bond and interpersonal relationships among all the participants. Its core is an installation composed of 19 3D objects, the form of which refers to doilies. The openwork, fully biodegradable items were made of original yarn, containing seeds of edible plants. The graduate project also includes a film documenting the design process, interviews with its participants, cycle of photographs, and a pennant made by the seniors during the silk-screen workshops. The pro-social activity is an important element of this work.

TOTU is a digital tool for finding non-specific erogenous zones dedicated to persons with mobility impairment. It contains a library of symbols to create collages, mapping the body. The design is motivated by the need for debunking the stereotypes regarding the sexuality of persons with disabilities, who are generally believed to be asexual and excluded from sex life. The tool is intended to facilitate the search for various erogenous zones, becoming familiar with one’s own body by means of body mapping and can be used in therapeutic work. TOTU was co-created with Sekson Projekt and Avalon Foundation through design and dialogue. It was consulted with sex therapists and psychologists, and implemented during Sekson 2022 Conference.
